DESCRIPTION

The Starter Test stand is used to simulate the start cycle of the jet engine starter. It uses the acceleration time of a known inertia flight wheel to check its performance. The starter test stand is comprised of an Inertia drive assembly, overrunning system, electrical console and control console. The control console is remotely located while the rest of the components are installed on a reinforced frame as a single unit.
